City of Edinburgh Council Schools & Colleges Partnership

This course concentrates on the development of practical skills and will enable you to prepare a specialist portfolio of work in a chosen discipline. The 4 areas on offer are Drawing & Painting, Visual Communications, Fashion & Textiles and Sculpture. There will be the opportunity for 2 tasters at the beginning of the course with the final selection of the specialist discipline following this stage. Places are allocated on merit and aptitude to the chosensubject and will be limited by availability. 
Entry requirements 2 Higher qualifications, preferably including English or equivalent qualifications. Those who may not necessarily have all the formal entry requirements may be accepted after relevant abilities are taken into consideration. Evidence of an Art & Design portfolio demonstrating drawing skills, media handling, colour and sketchbook work is required for interview.
