The Course content provides a broad, experiential introduction to hospitality professions. The focus is on experiencing the professional kitchen and restaurant; learning about the different roles and responsibilities in hospitality professions and beginning to develop vocational skills and knowledge. Practical experience of working in a realistic working environment is included. 
All Food and Hospitality provision is now spread over the week and is no longer offered on a particular (static) day or days. This change now provides more places and more flexibility. Traditional school provision is offered on Tuesdays,Wednesdays, Thursdays or Fridays from 08.30 – 14.00. (2008)
