This course has been designed to allow students who have an interest in, but little experience of, outdoor activities, the opportunity to develop practical skills and written log-book experience so that they can progress on to Outdoor Pursuits Preparation for Employment  
Entry: 16.5 years of age by October A good level of fitness An interest in Outdoor Activities Active and enthusiastic about working with others Selection for the course is by interview (2008)
